This listing is specifically for a headshot portrait.

The finished artwork will focus on:

• The character's head and face
• Hair and facial details
• Neck and upper shoulders
• Expression and personality
• A simple complementary background

The composition is intentionally focused on the character's face, making this option particularly suitable for detailed portraits, character references, profile artwork or a beautiful standalone piece of your favourite character.

📐 Available Sizes

Choose from:

• A4 — 21 × 29.7 cm
• A3 — 29.7 × 42 cm
• A2 — 42 × 59.4 cm
• A1 — 59.4 × 84.1 cm

Although the composition is a headshot, larger paper sizes allow me to work at a larger scale and provide greater room for intricate details.

Original Characters

Have a character you've created yourself?

I'd love to paint them.

You can provide character sheets, sketches, screenshots, descriptions, mood boards or other visual references to help me understand your character.

Fantasy & Character Art

I can create artwork inspired by fantasy, games, animation, manga, mythology and other fictional themes.

Fan-Created Artwork

I also accept commissions featuring existing fictional characters as unofficial fan-created artwork, subject to the applicable limitations and policies.

The resulting artwork is my own artistic interpretation and is not an official product of, or affiliated with, the relevant rights holder.

🖌️ Background

A simple background is included in the commission price.

This may include:

• A colour wash
• A gradient
• Soft textures
• Atmospheric effects
• Other uncomplicated elements that complement the portrait

Because this is a headshot commission, the background is intentionally kept relatively simple so that the focus remains on the character.

If you'd like a more elaborate environment, detailed scenery or substantial additional elements, please contact me before ordering.

💛 The Commission Process

1. Tell Me About Your Character

Before ordering, please provide the information needed for your commission.

This may include:

• Character references
• Facial references
• Hair and eye details
• Clothing
• Expression
• Pose or angle
• Colour preferences
• Background ideas
• Any other important details

Good-quality reference material is particularly important for portrait commissions because the face is the main focus of the artwork.

2. Your Commission Is Scheduled

Once your order and brief have been received, your commission will be added to my production schedule according to the processing option selected.

3. Sketch & Approval

I'll develop the composition and facial features from your approved brief.

Where revisions are included with your selected commission option, you'll have the stated opportunity to request changes before the painting progresses beyond the relevant stage.

4. Hand-Painting

Once the composition has been approved, I'll begin creating the finished artwork using traditional watercolour techniques.

This is where the portrait develops through layers of colour, detail, texture and careful brushwork.

5. Completion & Dispatch

Once your artwork is complete, it will be carefully protected and packaged for delivery.

All commission artwork is sent using tracked delivery.

You'll receive tracking information once your artwork has been dispatched.

⏱️ Commission Processing Options

Different processing options are available if you need your artwork sooner.

The available options and their respective processing times are displayed when selecting your commission.

Priority options allow me to reserve production time specifically for your commission and prioritise it within my workload.

Processing times relate to the creation and completion of the artwork and do not constitute a guaranteed delivery date.

Once dispatched, delivery is handled by the postal service and is outside my control.

📦 Original Physical Artwork

This listing is for an original physical watercolour painting.

You will receive the original artwork on the paper size selected when ordering.

Digital files and prints are not included unless specifically stated in your selected commission option.

Purchasing a commission does not transfer copyright or commercial rights in the artwork.

Personal-use commissions may not be reproduced, resold, commercially exploited or otherwise used outside the agreed purpose without prior written permission.

I do not claim ownership of the underlying character, franchise or intellectual property belonging to its respective rights holder.

The original artistic expression, interpretation and physical artwork created by NeeseDraws remain subject to my own rights.
